The Loft by Bridgeview
Industrial loft wedding venues are so hot right now, but they’re usually found in big cities. Fortunately, one of our favorite unique wedding venues on Long Island is this loft space in Island Park, complete with reclaimed barn wood, exposed brick, and chandeliers. This is a space for weddings with small guest lists, as the capacity is 160. There’s also an outdoor, waterfront pergola ideal for ceremonies so you’ll get the best of both worlds.
Atlantis Banquets & Events
Located on the Peconic River in Riverhead, this banquet hall is actually located inside the Long Island Aquarium. Not only will your guests enjoy dinner and dancing on your wedding day, they can also view the various exhibits, including the 120,000-gallon Lost City of Atlantis Shark Exhibit, penguins, sea lions, and more. There are two ballrooms to choose from, including the Sea Star Ballroom, with space for up to 320 guests, and the Coliseum Room, with room for up to 275. Cradle of Aviation Museum
This unique wedding venue on Long Island offers a variety of event spaces for your big day. From the four-story Reckson Center Atrium to festive The Red Planet Café which is designed like a Mars space station, this museum can accommodate events for up to 2,000 people. While this all-inclusive Long Island wedding venue in Saint James has a classic, elegant ballroom, it also offers a unique Atrium space, which allows you to have an “outdoor” wedding year-round. The climate-controlled, greenhouse-like structure features a Koi pond and bridge, as well as tropical flora and floor-to-ceiling windows. The Atrium is ideal for ceremonies of up to 300 guests and receptions for up to 150. The ballroom, with its high ceilings and mahogany dance floor can host weddings for up to 350 guests. NYIT de Seversky Mansion
There may be no better Long Island wedding venue to host a Great Gatsby-inspired event than this historic 1920s mansion, located on Long Island’s Gold Coast where the famed novel was set. The beautiful grounds are ideal for ceremonies, and the Grand Ballroom has all of the Art Deco vibes you desire. There are other gorgeous rooms where you can host your event, including the light-filled Garden Room and the newly-restored Dining Room. There’s room for up to 1,000 guests at this 1930s Art Deco-style space, which includes red walls, a stage, and more. Harbor Club at Prime
Many of the ballrooms on Long Island have that traditional, classic vibe (which we love!), but if you’re looking for an event space that’s a bit more modern, check out one of our favorite unique wedding venues on Long Island. This Huntington venue combines a minimalist, contemporary vibe with a scenic, waterfront setting. Exchange vows on the outdoor terrace overlooking the water, followed by a wedding reception in the ballroom complete with hardwood floors, glass walls, and more. There’s space for 220 guests and catering is handled on site and wins raves from couples.
The Barn at Bethpage Village Restoration
Couples looking for a rustic Long Island wedding venue will be delighted by this barn space in Old Bethpage.
