Zihuatanejo - Ixtapa wedding photographer recommendations??

How about looking for photographers from mexico city? i mean they are not local but neither too far from it? and you might have a bigger pool to choose from.

Why don't you just hire someone to travel to mexico with you. Most wedding photographers travel. I hope to only shoot destination weddings in the near future. I love them. Hope you find a great one!

I have heard so many horror stories of local photographers on destination weddings-from the photog showing up 2 1/2 hours late, leaving in the middle of the reception, to never receiving their proofs at all. Your wedding photos are so important. We shoot wedding all over the world and just shot a wedding in Zihuatanejo last year. It is such a beautiful location to get married! Thank you for your comments and insight. My fiance and I are nearing a decision... we are very happy to have recently come across a Canadian professional photographer who lives in Zihuatanejo-Ixtapa.
