Wrong address on wedding invites

Rachel, on January 25, 2024 at 12:43 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 7
Hi ladies!
We made a major goof
We have already sent out invites and many people have gotten them. We put the wrong adress by one number!🤦🏻‍♀️ it was supposed to say 3285 but instead says 285, so a pretty big distance!Any advice? I don’t know what to do!🙃

Can you check both with the people at that address and with the post office? Maybe do an address change with the post office.

Did you mean that the invitations have the wrong address for the venue that you're getting married at? If so, I would probably send a follow-up card containing the correct address to those who accept your invitation. You could also call/text/email your guests with the updated info.

I would suggest this, and in fact I would both send a card but also call or text your guests too.

Oops. I guess it is not likely it is the return address for the invites. You still may need a sign near that first address saying -- "Go to 3285 not 285" Maybe when you send a card for the correct address, tell them to throw out the original invite so they don't get confused on that day by looking at the old invitation.

If you mean the venue address, send a new invite with the correct address. Also call them to let them know.

I agree with PP. I'd send a printed correction card or a note and would also contact people individually via phone, email and or text. I'd also include the correct on your wedding website if there is one.
