Would you rather...have a dress that looks amazing in person but so-so in pictures, or vice versa?

Amazing in person! I want to look my best on my wedding day and for the people we love the most who came to celebrate. A photo is just a photo.

Never concidered this because my dress looks amazing on me and photographed.

I guess amazing in person so that way I feel amazing and my best that day.

Probably not a popular opinion, but better in photos. Those will last forever. Also, I'm convinced that on my wedding date I will look SO GOOD that I could wear a potato sack and still be stunning, so maybe I'm not the best person to ask, haha

Same. There were a few dresses that I tried on that I liked but ultimately decided against because the details that I liked I realized probably wouldn't even really show up in photos, since I was having trouble seeing them in the photos I took when I tried them on. It's also why I decided to keep my dress in the moscato color I tried on instead of ivory, I was worried that the details I loved about it would be lost without that contrast.

Why is both not an option?

I never really thought about that but I’d prefer amazing in photos. Yes it would be a bummer knowing it only looks soso in person but pictures last forever and I plan on having photos everywhere I can place them!

Amazing in person. It would be nice to it look amazing in person for years to come, but if I don't feel beautiful on our day, I'm always going to remember that and regret it.
