Winter wedding

Congratulations on the upcoming wedding!
There are sooooo many possibilities with a Christmas themed wedding! The season is already so cozy and people are generally in high spirits, so it’s already a great atmosphere. And a lot of venues decorate for the holidays, so you could potentially save a lot of money on decor!
Some fun ideas off the top of my head….
1. You could really lean into the season with your menu (ie, lots of rich, cold weather comfort foods like rosemary mashed potatoes, specialty breads, soups, pies, etc.)
2. You could do seasonal activities, like a hot chocolate bar or make your own s’mores

3. You could wrap guest favors like little Xmas presents

4. You could incorporate lots of greenery and berries in your decor

5. Find a venue that’s very cozy (a fireplace is always a plus!) and has dimmable lights to create that warm cozy ambiance.

6. Lots of twinkle lights

The possibilities are endless!!!

Play with textures: velvet and wood, among others (such as knit) will help with a cozy vibe
Simple colors: a monochrome of grays/dusty blues, cream and gold, and white and green are all festive without being too obviously for one holiday
