My FH and I are in crunch time. Our wedding is set for September 2019 and 90% of our guests are from out of town. This means we need to send our Save The Dates soon (by early January at the latest) and need to get a photographer lined up. Has anyone taken engagement photos in December and/or in DC? Interested in outfit ideas too because I'd like to wear something a little more dressy rather than causal (but don't want to freeze). Advice is appreciated!

Hi Caitlyn! Have you tried looking in the WeddingWire Vendor Search for Photographers in Washington D.C.? This is a really helpful search tool to help you sort through photographers by filtering their availability, cost, style, and more!
Also, where in D.C. will you be taking your photos? Since I currently live in Washington D.C., I have many recommendations on great locations to take photos!
As for your outfits, I think the cozy look makes for adorable photos! Maybe try a pair of pants, boots, a jacket, and a big scarf! Here's a photo for inspiration:
