Who is getting a photo booth?

Maya, on July 8, 2019 at 11:30 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 1 25
Who is getting a photo booth, and if so for how long? How much are you paying? We really want to do the magic mirror but don’t know if 2 hours is enough or if 4 hours is too much....our reception is only 4 hours long. What do you think?! We are trying to stay cost effective.

We are having a photobooth for 4 hours (not the mirror one). My FMIL is paying $800 for it. It comes with the booth, 2 attendants, props for guests to use, guests get print outs immediately, and then FH and I will receive a scrap book of all the photos taken throughout the night. For you, I think 2 hours will be ok. Especially since you have to take into consideration your dances and dinner that can easily take 2 hours so then you would only have 2 hours of open dance time in which the photobooth can be open.

We are getting a photobooth, but it's part of our DJ package, so I don't know how much it costs by itself. We'll have it for 4 hours.

We're getting one for 3 hours. You wont need 4 hours if that's how long your reception is, you dont want ppl using it during dinner, toasts, dances, etc...

    We are doing a photobooth.
We could do 2 hours for $399, or add 2 more hours for $100.
So we opted for $499 for 4 hours (the length of our reception)

It includes 3 strips for guests, a scrapbook with a copy of every strip for us, and customized graphics on the strip. Props and an attendant.

3 hrs & it’s $795, but we got a $100 off bc the DJ is a sister company so $695 out of pocket.

My reception is 4 hours and I am only having the 2 hour package! I think that's plenty of time for 100 guests since most people go in in pairs or groups of friends. Ours was like a $325 package

You guys are so awesome and informative! Thank you! I’ve been talking to a few photo booth vendors and there was one for $800 for 5 hours, scrapbook props etc and the company was super nice but I think that we just don’t need that much. I think we’ll end up bundling it in with our photographer for a couple of hours.

We are doing an open air photobooth. 3 hours of unlimited prints + props and backdrop + flash drive with digital copies + animated GIF option + custom photo strip design for $850. It is a lot to pay but I originally wanted the photobooth bus that was $1400. Decided to save the $550 because I don't think the bus would be that much better of an experience for guests.

I got it for 2 hours but I'm debating renting it for four hours instead. I might pay the difference a little closer to the wedding because every wedding I've been to with a photo booth has been so much fun. I would say to at least do 2 hours but if you can swing four hours, do it!

Ours is a standard 4 hours for $500. We are doing this instead of traditional favors.

We are having a photo booth for 2 hours. We got it for free in our photography/videography package due to a special that was going on, but the company usually charges $450 for 2 hours if you don't use them for photography or $250 if you do use them for photography.

We used booth by mail and it was awesome! They ship you everything you need to set it up including the props, backdrop, printer, paper, etc. It was super easy and you just ship it back after the wedding! It was $300. Oh and each picture strip prints twice so you get a copy too and they emailed us digital copies of every picture too! Here’s the link if you wanna check it out! https://boothbymail.com/#home-features

Ours is $500 and provided through the venue. Comes with a photo guestbook for bride and groom. Props and photo booth attendant included. Unsure about length of time.... I should ask about that!
