My best friend from college!

My mom and best friend were watching via our nanny cam (it's really for our dog.) Then we called the rest of our immediate family and close friends.

We first shared with my mom and grandparents!

My FMIL knew it was happening that night. The first person I called was my mom, then my older brother, little brother, and my best friends! Then posted on Facebook.

My mom and two sisters, along with FH's twin 13 year old daughters were all there when he proposed! So of course, they knew first. After that, we told our closest friends and FH told his mom!

Family. My mom, specifically then his mom. We were in Iceland with limited wifi that was the best in our room, so we had to wait to announce on social media until we got home.

Well his family was there to witness the proposal then of course I called my family since we were in Disney!

My dad, my mom was at work when it happened so I had to impatiently wait for her to be done before I told her. But I also told friends and some family members the night it happened!

I immediately contacted my mom and sisters then his parents who knew when it was happening so they were waiting for the official phone call. 😊

His sister was technically the first person to officially know since she had just got to their family cabin and saw it happen but the first person I told was my sister. I immediately called her to tell her!

Tried to tell my mom first but she didn't answer her phone. We were on vacation with friends so they noticed the ring at dinner and ended up being the first people we told. My sister was next to find out since my mom still wasn't answering her phone.

My sister! She's my best friend, so I wanted to tell her first. But it was a race with my FH posting our engagement on Facebook at the same time I was calling her!! I knew she would see his post, so I'm like "wait! I have to call Amy before you post!!" lol Luckily, I reached her before she saw his post. I told her about it later, and she agreed she would have been pissed if she'd seen it on FB before I called her!

Well my parents and his parents knew a month before he was going to propose. So when I called them they weren't all that excited lol. My mom even knew the morning of. I called her first and she said "FINALLY" Then I called my dad and step mom. Then I called my grandparents who were the only ones close to me who didn't know ahead of time. It was more fun to tell them since it was a surprise. About an hour later we were to meet FH's family for dinner, so we officially told them then even though they already knew it was coming. Then after dinner I group texted my closest girlfriends and posted it on facebook! Ah crazy

My FH set up this elaborate plan to get all of our friends together for a picnic at another friend's house. My sister and BIL were visiting from Georgia and came too (I just thought they were coming for a fun time) but my parents knew it was happening. So technically like 30 people saw it happen. Lol I then posted a picture of my ring that said "So this just happened" and everyone else was informed. Lol
