Who defined the relationship? You or your fiancé(e)?

He introduced me to his mom as his “kinda girlfriend” the summer we got together. Basically I was like wtf does that mean and we cleared it up following that.

I asked what we were and he said I was his girlfriend.

He did!! He was pretty unsure of our relationship in the beginning, and so I hung back and let him make the actual “relationship or not” decision. He introduced me to his parents first as his girlfriend and then it was decided!

After five months of casually hanging out together and an "accidental" drunken kiss, the night after he asked me to be his girlfriend.

He asked me to be his gf pretty early on. Like the night after the 2nd date I think lol

He kept trying but I wanted to keep it casual. eventually I realized we were spending all of our time together and I didn't want it any differently so I sneakily added on Facebook that we were in a relationship, he got the notification and just looked at me all starry eyed lol it was really cute!

My H did he is the one who asked if were making it official.

Neither of us ever really "asked" the other to be boyfriend/girlfriend. On our 5th date he kissed me for the first time as we were saying bye and when I hung out with him a couple days later he referred to himself as my boyfriend and I just rolled with it!

Well, I’m the one who invited him to come on my family vacation with me, but he’s the one who responded by asking “does that make you my girlfriend?” 🤣. So maybe a toss up haha

I think it was a bit of a combo. I started the conversation but he was the one to firmly say I'm exclusive with you.

After a few months of us talking and being friends, he asked my dad if he could have his permission to ask me to be his girlfriend. The next day, we were official. But, we were already acting like a couple.

We both defined what we want and needed. We’re 13 years together in a couple of weeks

He asked me to be his girlfriend and I said you don’t want me as your girlfriend. Even though I loved him and there was something about him... I knew I was scared because we were best friends and I didn’t ever want to loose him as a friend if our relationship didn’t make it. So I told him to give me 5 days to pray and really think about it and he said he would call me on an exact date and time and he did and he told me he prayed for me and he asked God to make me his. Needless to say I said yes and 6 months later he asked me to marry him.

Definitely him. He asked me to be his girlfriend after two months of casual (but exclusive) dating. I argue our dating anniversary should be in April, but June was when it was first said out loud.
