I have a round diamond and I love it, but I’m also really crushing on pear cuts right now. I don’t think any certain cut looks cheaper than others.

Emerald cut is gorgeous.

I think emerald is nice. I for whatever reason am a huge cushion cut fan

I told my fh which cuts I liked (oval, emerald, and pear). He ended up going with pear. I'm thinking of getting an emerald right hand ring.

I love emerald cut. Here's mine. It's small compared to most I've seen but i love it so much. It's perfect for me.

With step cut diamonds like emerald and asscher..clarity it really important. You can see the inclusions better on those cuts compared to the others. Emerald cut can also be lower on fire and brilliance than some other cuts..so depth and table percentages and girdle thickness is something to be aware of too

I personally love a cushion cuts because they sparkle like crazy (that is what I have). My MIL had a beautiful emerald cut, but it isn't personally my style.

I think those are all pretty! I just listened to a podcast from betches brides about different ring styles and diamond shapes! Had a lot of great info if you’re still trying to decide

I don't really have a preference. I love emeralds, but I don't particularly like emerald cut. I don't think it looks cheaper either though. This is mine

I love my pear! And I was talking to my jeweler about it... of anything, the cut dictates the price per carat. Round is “in” so it’s most popular and most expensive. Since I got a diamond that’s not round, we ended up getting a better price per carat! (:

This is my ring! I’ve always been partial to pear cut! It’s personal preference though
