Where to honeymoon?? Maui or Turks and Caicos?!

My fiancé and I can’t decide for the life of us if we want to honeymoon in West Maui or Turks and Caicos?!! Our wedding is 02/01/2020 and we plan to leave Monday February 3rd. We plan to stay 7-8 nights. We live in San Diego, CA and with that being said the flight to Maui will take us around 8 hours if we have a layover and around 12 hours for Turks and Caicos if we have a layover. The beaches in Turks and Caicos and not as crowded and much more beautiful, but there’s not nearly as much to do on the island. Maui is a beautiful island, but busier though, but we have both been individually (5-15 years ago) and loved the activities and food. The beaches are nice, but more crowded and much rockier. Where would you go?!

Wedding date twin!!! You’re the first I’ve found!!! Another vote for Turks- I’m thinking less crowded for your honeymoon is the way to go!!! Enjoy!

We are going to Maui & Oahu from Denver in July! I love Hawaii, and my fiance has never been. I'm sure we will go to Turks sometime in the future, but Hawaii seems to have a lot more to do.

We're getting married on Leap Day and are leaving on 3/2 for a 7 night honeymoon in Turks and Caicos so I vote there!! The beaches and water look so beautiful in TCI that FH & I decided we had to go! I was kinda in the same boat because there's not as much to do there as other islands, but we figured we'll probably want to relax and spend a lot of time doing water activities!

I'm going to TCI as well! We've been meaning to take a tropical, do nothing, beach vacation for a while and this was the perfect reason. Our plan is to swim, go on boating excursions and just chill out in general.

I have been too Turks and I highly recommend it. It is a walking town, so there is plenty of stuff to do and there are excursions. I recommend doing the half day boat trip that was fun and the beaches are very beautiful
