It really depends on what you want to get out of your honeymoon! What made you choose Orlando in the first place? Most people decide to come to Orlando specifically for Disney and/or Universal. If you like theme parks, definitely build in some days to visit them. Disney takes a lot more planning (tickets, park reservations, dining reservations) while with Universal you can buy tickets and kind of just go with less planning. If you decide to go with a theme park, staying onsite is great because you get extra benefits. My favorite hotels at Universal are Royal Pacific or Sapphire Falls. Theres also Sea World and various water parks in the area.

If you're not that interested in spending multiple days at a theme park, Gaylord Palms is an amazing resort with tons to do onsite. If you want a beachy vibe, there's the new Margaritaville resort. There are tons of resorts in the tourist area though, so search on somewhere like tripadvisor for your dates and budget.

Aside from theme parks, some other great things to do are visit Icon Park (there's a big ferris wheel and tons of shops and restaurants) or Disney Springs even if you don't go to Disney. Sleuth's Mystery dinner theater is a fun dinner show. Downtown Orlando has some cool bars including a speakeasy (Mathers) and plenty of others, but downtown is a bit of a hike from the tourist area. I could go on and on, so if you have any specific questions, feel free to ask!

ROFLMAO .. I am 65, FH 67 .... we go 2 to 3 times a year. Trust me, it isn't just for kids! October is during Food and Wine festival (in EPCOT) which is super delicious fun.

It's much more fun to go as an adult! Do the Drink Around The World Challenge at Epcot, wear Just Married buttons and Mickey Ears, enjoy the parks and freebies of honeymooning at Disney, the fireworks, etc! It's so magical and romantic!

I used to work at Disney as a cast member - its aimed for people of all ages, not just the kids. As a 31 year old woman, I love going as an adult. (I'm sort of a roller coaster junkie lol). Epcot offers Drinking Around the World, Hollywood Studios (my favorite park) offers movie magic and cool rides, Magic Kingdom is more-so aimed at kids but very whimsical and fun, Animal Kingdom is pretty cool if you like animals and outdoors.

Its a bigger, better Six Flags lol (idk if you've been there either)
