Where to get ready?

Marina, on April 30, 2019 at 11:18 AM Posted in Rhode Island Planning 0 2
Ladies of Newport, Rhode Island! Our Ceremony is in Beavertail Park, Jamestown, our Reception in The Towers at Narragansett and we live in Newport. I set a room block for the night of the reception for the guests at the Holiday Inn in South Kingston. Where could I get ready!? Our apartment is tiny for 8 ladies plus hair and make up crew to be in, so the groom and groom's men (and the dog) will get ready at our home. But that leaves me and my gals looking for places! I don't really want to pay around $1000 to book a hotel for 3 days/2 nights due to the check in/check out restrictions...not to mention we have that room block where everyone will be staying the night of for $100! Does anyone know if there are hotels and or venues around the area that would rent me a 'bridal room/suite' for a few hours to get ready in? Such a thing should exisit, right? And I just don't know where to look?

    Hi there Marina!

Would you consider looking into renting a house in the area? That would have lots of room and may be more cost-efficient. Check out websites like Airbnb and see what you can find in the area and if it’s suitable!

I love that your dog is involved in the big day! Will he/she have a role at the wedding?!

I agree, look at rentals, Air BnB, homeaway, etc. Did you contact the hotel you did a block with? Or are they the ones who told you $1000?
