My husband isn’t super slim, but we bought his Ted Baker tux from Nordstrom. I remember seeing some slim cut suits from Ted Baker there as well as the actual TB store. I would check that out if you’re interested in purchasing!

My fiancée is tall and sim and has trouble finding formal wear that’s long enough in the limbs, so he got a custom suit made by StudioSuits. It was pretty affordable, and you input all your own measurements. He says it fits perfectly and it’s exactly what he wanted. I would recommend checking out something like that to get the fit you need!

Men’s Wearhouse will be able to do it no problem! My SO is a retired professional basketball player lol so slim and athletic is literally him and they suited him and it’s flawless 🤍

View Quoted Comment I can’t remember exactly how long it took but I remember us saying it came faster than we expected. Maybe a month? Not 100% sure now though.
The measuring instructions are pretty clear, I helped him take all his measurements and it’s all pretty standard stuff. There was a part that said to take a pair of dress pants that fit and measure those, but he didn’t have a pair he loved so we fudged the measurements a bit and it worked out. For example they wanted the measurement of a pant cuff so I pinned the cuff of the pants he had to the size he’d like them to be while he was wearing them and then measured that.
I believe there’s a box you can check that asks them to contact you if they believe any measurements are off so they can double check. We felt confident enough that we left that unchecked and the suit came out perfectly.

Jim's shops are sometimes freestanding, sometimes inside of bigger formal wear or bridal. *** Too many student or slim men are only in rayon and viscose, or other low quality. Jim's has a slimline grouping starting at reasonable prices in a wool blend, summer or winter weights. 2 of my adult brothers, like many very slender asian men, even competitive swimmers or canoe and kayakers, seem to have wire cable not bulky muscle except in the shoulders. They got suits in prep college shops til age 25. Last several years, this is their go to chain.

ASOS and Topshop have good options.

Https://www.indochino.com. They have show rooms in select cities. Google around for a coupon, there’s usually some kind of offer out there for new clients. Or if you have a tailor you usually use, see if they could quote you a made to order suit.

Look into European brands, they cut their suits differently.

Express. They have a slim cut line.

Nordstroms, they usually offer tailoring as part of the purchase price.
