Where are all the print wedding magazines?

Pirate & 60s Bride, on August 9, 2020 at 5:31 PM Posted in Style and Décor 2 20

I'm so sad! I was going to get a print magazine subscription for my soon-to-be SIL. I LOVED flipping through magazines when I was engaged. Martha Stewart only printing 1x/year. I couldn't even find The Knot???? Not interested in digital. It looks like Bridal Guide is still available. Anyone subscribe to other print magazines they like?

I picked up a couple Rocky Mountain Bride magazines, but that’s definitely a regional thing. I feel like there used to be tons of bridal magazines, but I haven’t looked in forever so I haven’t really noticed that’s they seem to be disappearing 🙁.

I may need a visit to a local bookstore to see what I can find. Thanks!

Right?! I was engaged the end of 2015--same thing. It's so sad they're all disappearing.

I have a Bridal Guide subscription. As far as I know, after looking all over when I got engaged May 2019, they are the only one who does physical subs.

I love The Knot! I could only find at some online bookstores but is the print magazine really $9.99 per issue? Yikes.

    😆 Hiiiii Julie!

Yauh, I’ll try a bookstore. I just know the subscriptions are a better deal than a single issue. I think I subscribed to two magazines and I’d get so excited every time they came in the mail. And I bought a bunch at the bookstore.

Yea, it is! I also sent in two cards from Bride magazine but only for added to their email list. No idea what that’s about!

Weird. Everyone's going digital but I'm old school and love print. At least if someone could do fall/winter then a spring/summer edition for ideas. But Bridal Guide is a good one.

Also at your local grocery stores, not certain where you live but they in the northern California supermarkets and Walmarts. With the pandemic the bookstore may not be open yet good luck..

Yeah it is. its hurts the pockets a little but i think they only publish once a season/ quarterly. so its not 9.99 a month. Another idea is if your area had any wedding magazines see if you could get her a subscription to that. for example, im in Maryland and we have Cheasapeak Bay Wedding Magazine. its nice too because it feature local vendors.

I've seen some in Barnes & Noble, they can be quite expensive though.

I posted last week about wanting to do a planning scrapbook of sorts...I had the same experience. Because of Pinterest, most stuff is online. The Knot does do a print magazine but it's expensive. I found that their regional ones are a bit better, but it's still a pretty penny.

I’m over a year behind on this post but I’m 36, finally planning a wedding and all I want is print magazines to put together my Wedding Binder. My fiancé doesn’t have Pinterest so it makes it difficult to share things with him…yes we can stare at a computer screen together but I love binders and page protectors and flipping through magazines.
If anyone has old magazines that aren’t missing pages, I’m happy to buy some. :-)

This has been heartbreaking to me as well.

The only one I have picked up recently is The Knot.

Someone told me to go to Barns and Noble or another book/magazine store.
