When to send Save the Dates ?

Hi! My wedding is at the end of August 2020. Do you think it’s too early to send save the dates after the holidays? Most of the guest list is local.

    No. Not too early, that's like 8 months away. Mine is in October and I plan on sending mine soon to the out of town guests.

    Hi Gianna, I believe we're supposed to send out save the dates either 6 to 8 months prior to the wedding. I'm getting married in September of 2020 so we'll send ours out in January (8 month mark)!!! Majority of our guests are local but I think that extra time is good...lives do get busy. So, maybe February for you!

    I think after the holidays is good, definitely not too early. Sending save the dates 6-8 months out where your guest list is mostly local is fine - I'd recommend more like 8-10 months out for people with a lot more out-of-town guests though.

    We sent ours 10 months out since we had so many out of state guests.

    Its 6-8 months before Im also in August of 2020 Im sending mines out as Christmas Cards & New Years Cards
