When did most of your Rsvps come in?

About 1/3 of ours came in right away. The other 2/3 came in right at the deadline (or in a couple cases, right after that deadline lol)

I agree, it's fun to get replies back (either by mail or email)! The two times that we got the most replies back were 1. right when we sent the invitations out, and 2. right at the deadline. Once we mailed our invites, we got a few replies really quickly in that first week. After that, they kind of slowly came in (maybe 2-3 a week), until the week of the RSVP deadline, when we got another bunch of replies at around the same time. We still had to reach out to a handful of people who didn't RSVP by within a week of the deadline.

Our replies followed the same pattern as PPs. We received a good number soon after invitations were sent. Then a few each week until just before the reply date, which was a month out. It makes sense because most properly replies are due asap. The reply by date is more or less a babysitting tool, if a necessary evil these days.


Of course an immediate reply is not always possible. Many conflicts aren’t known until closer to the date. Invitations are typically sent 6-8 weeks ahead with that in mind.
