What was your first date with your fiance?

We didn’t really have a first date. He asked me out when he was separated but not finally divorced, and I said I wouldn’t consider it until that was final. We kept hanging out as friends, with others and just the two of us. A couple months after his divorce was final, we had a conversation that basically agreed we’d already started dating. So we had no anniversary until he proposed several years later. 😆 We do have a restaurant we consider our unofficial first date, because we had dinner there alone in the right timeframe!

We met on-line (Our Time for Seniors) We emailed back and forth for almost 3 weeks. He asked if I wanted to meet up, and I was hesitant at first (you KNOW all those horror movie scenarios were running through my head) He said "well, I have a Camaro convertibles, we could go for a ride and listen to music" Did I mention I'm a sucker for convertibles? LOLOL Soooooo, our first date was riding in the Camaro to a local state park, where we got out and went for a walk in the woods.

Side note - for his grooms gift I found this gorgeous men's silver and leather bracelet that has the longitude and latitude of the park stamped in the leather, and the inside is engraved "where love first met" He wears it ALL the time. ~sigh~
