What was your catering $$ avg for 90-100 people?

Hi there. I was just curious what caterer everyone uses in the Massachusetts area. I’m looking for a buffet style dinner with 3 hors d’oeuvres, one stationary display and two desserts. I was quoted around 8k for 98 people, (7kids meal) and a vegetarian option. 29.99 for the buffet and 3-5$ pp for apps.
That included the taxes, flatware, staff and napkins.
I was just curious if that was a pretty good price or if there could be something else cheaper. It’s hard to look for caterers because most don’t include their prices on their website. Any tips welcome.
