This may depend on your colors, have you decided on these yet? Dried flowers are also popular in fall. If you're on a tight budget you can do all greenery.

I actually never thought about dried flowers. would they be cheaper if i got them dried or should i dry them myself? also my wedding colors are plum, rust (a deep orangish red), cabernet and black.

I think it really depends on your budget. Dried flowers from a florist cost the same or more as fresh ones because of the labor involved. It would be hard to DIY all the centerpieces, but for bouquets, you could definitely get some flowers from Costco or another cheap place and try it.

Just for fun, I searched for bouquets for those colors on Pinterest:What flowers are best for fall weddings? 1What flowers are best for fall weddings? 2What flowers are best for fall weddings? 3What flowers are best for fall weddings? 4What flowers are best for fall weddings? 5

Here are a couple fun reads to look at different styles. I think dahlias are sexy and a statement piece with one. Perhaps google goth fall weddings for your color. Be careful of the Pinterest hole if you want to save money. Greenery and dried flowers may not be cost effective. But, perhaps wood flowers?

I appreciate this information! this definitely helps and i love that you gave me links! i was thinking wood flowers but wouldn’t that be too expensive considering wood has been going up in prices?

Be sure to also check out Fiftyflowers.com. They have prearranged centerpieces and/or DIY and are at least 1/2 the cost of a florist. A prearranged bouquet from their website:What flowers are best for fall weddings? 6

Depends on budget and location! Some flowers are easier to get in some seasons and locations than others… for example, Northern California can get dahlias, magnolia, orchid, rose, and eucalyptus during October

I’m obsessed with dried flowers. We’re doing a mixture for my Winter Sienna Rust colored wedding. My centerpieces are also dried floral Pampas Grass theme.

I’ve kept a flower from multiple loved ones funerals over the last several years and pretty surprised at how well preserved they are. It’s where I got the idea.

Yes darling! You are so welcome. 💜I relocated out of state and held on to my Grandmothers for 6 years. Now, I have her Sisters from 2019 and my Grandfathers from 2020. For my 40th Birthday I ordered a Forever Black rose as a RIP to my 30’s. Lol!

I love that so much! and ugh yes. the black rose. i saw something like that and thought it was pretty neat. and i just have my grandmothers flowers in a tin wrapped with ribbon along with her ashes sitting ontop. at my wedding i’m going to have a shrine like set for all the loved ones of mine and my fiancés at a table that i’m going to personally design. my mom has my grandpas ashes somewhere, so it’ll be nice to put them together in the shrine like when they were together when they were alive! it’s going to be a whole thing!!

Sunflowers! I got married last October, and I had sunflowers in my wedding. My wedding colors were navy blue and yellow, and the sunflowers worked perfect for that. They were accompanied by white mums.

I was married in October with Wine color dresses. My colors were wine and rose gold. I did all white hydrangeas for the girls, white roses for the men and mom’s, and all white roses for me
