What did you do on your 1 month anniversary of being married

My husband and I enjoyed a piece of saved wedding cake on our 1 month anniversary. I know it’s customary to save a piece of cake and eat it on your one year anniversary but my husband didn’t want to eat cake that was frozen for a year. In his opinion it would go bad. I wanted to save it for a year but I settled on 1 month! It was yummy.

My husband and I said "Happy one-month anniversary!" to each other, but otherwise didn't do much to celebrate. We will celebrate on our one-year anniversary though, and maybe our 6-month!

We didn't even realize it with the holidays and work and selling his place. Life is busy always, right? LOL - although we were already discussing our 1 year anniversary and how to celebrate- so there's that!!

I'm not married yet but just realized that we won't even get a one month anniversary because the date doesn't exist (February 30) hahahahaha. So I guess that solves that for us! But if we continue the same traditions hat we had for our dating anniversary, the monthly anniversaries will be a date night.

But you can use that date you just get to celebrate your wedding anniversary earlier than us lol lol. But that is not fair that February is the only month with 28 days. But if I could I would celebrate every month but I know that he won't go for that 😏🤔🤫 but I will try 😂😂😂. But yes dealing with now getting back to normal meaning not having to cash x amount money towards a wedding and reception. Yes we are too getting his things in unpacking packing up wedding stuff that we are keeping to reuse for other events. And changing home addresses and for me changing my last name I have some sags because the city we gotten married in keep switching up websites on me and to keep repaying for something I already paid for just drop in the mail. But we will do something for the 6mos anniversary my sister is are ready planning our 1 year wedding anniversary lol lol

And that was nice even those its supposed to be for that reason lol lol but we will another cake made by then because my sister said that she was doing a 1 yr anniversary party for us. We went to work that day and then got chipotle for dinner because neither of us felt like cooking 😂 with trying to get everything under control after the wedding, the holidays, upcoming birthdays, my parents coming to visit, our car having issues, etc., we've been pretty busy.

We didn't live together before we gotten married Plus I was not cooking because we still have Thanksgiving food left from our house and other relatives houses this why we only cook Turkey once a year.
