We are also doing a coffee & donut bar, but I had the same struggle! I was not abut to spend $300 on a donut wall from etsy, and I can't possible add another DIY project to my already too-large list. My set-up inspo picture is really similar to yours!! Love it!

I am so excited! I was going to do the donut wall myself but my caterer had hesitations about hanging donuts on wood pegs and things like that for health reasons and because its set up as a bar and you build them yourself it seemed silly. I may still make the wall and coat the rods they stick on with cellophane so as you walk to make your donut you grab a donut from the wall and then build it with the toppings but i'm not sure yet!

Yeah we are doing our own vows which I'm excited for. i don't think the reality of the ceremony has hit me yet. like I'm super excited about marrying my best friend but the planning has been so crazy and FH and I are most excited about food choices. We said from the get go food was a big thing for us. Hes a picky eater and I have just been to a lot of weddings where the food was dry and cold and just not great and I know they spend a lot of money on it. We wanted something that captured us. We do Taco Tuesday every Tuesday and Fajita Friday every Friday so this is a staple in our household and we love donuts so this just sums us up. Boba bar that sounds super yummy. I love boba! I loved the candy bar idea and I thought about that and a smores bar but we ultimately settles on donuts when we decided we wanted no cake.

I love the donut wall! If is hard to find then you can always make it yourself. A hardware store has the plywood and you can customize it to be or say whatever you want.

I was most excited for all the surprises I had for my guest. I had a small wedding so for the most part only my husband and I knew all the details, my mom knew a few. I was excited for everyone to see how many details our wedding had and to see our venue. Of course I was excited for husband to finally see my dress, to say I do and to see him in his tux which was also a surprise for me.

Cheesy Alert: but I can't wait to see all of my friends and family in one place. My family is scattered throughout 9 states so it's not very often all of us get together.

We got married 3 weeks ago but the part I had been most looking forward to throughout our engagement (by far) was reading our self-written vows to each other... it completely lived up to the expectation!!

I'm most excited for the dessert table. We're planning cinnamon doughnuts, apple cider, and other fall related MI treats for it.

I'm most excited TO FINALLY BE MARRIED!! I'm looking forward to spending all day with my FH and then to get a whole week with him all to myself. Wedding wise, I'm looking forward to hanging out with all my family and friends. Our venue has a back patio with bistro lights that we are using as our games/hangout hole. We'll have cornhole, giant tic tac toe, yard bowling, and giant Jenga. I think it'll be really fun!

Finally getting to marry my fiancé (it’s been 11.5 years). Besides that I’d say getting all dressed up and the dessert bar.

    What makes me
excited thinking about the big day is when I’m walking down the aisle and seeing my future husband staring at me, the ceremony. The BBQ food and RBF.

I understand this, I'm in FL and all my family is in NY, NH, VT and the Carolinas only time we get together is family celebrations (my dads 60th birthday) a 2 years ago, or family deaths unfortunately. Its always exciting getting family together!

My cousins and I have said the same thing- the last time we were all together was my grandmothers funeral 4 years ago. Two of my cousins are getting married this year as well, and unfortunately I won’t be able to go either one. 😭

Yeah thats always a shame. I am one of 6 and most of my siblings have been down to FL to visit every year or every other year but i ave one sister that just made her first visit down here back in January after 11 years of us living here and it was because one of our other sisters passed away. Travel is hard on a lot of people.

Finally being able to say my Fiance is my husband not just my fiance or boyfriend. I look forward to starting our "married" life together. We are high school sweethearts who by the time the wedding rolls around will have been together for 8 years. I also look forward to my Father/Daughter dance with my Dad. He and I have always been each other's number 1. I know we will both be blubbering messes but I'm glad I get to share that moment with him lol.
