Welcome party/rehearsal dinner menu

Ours was pretty casual. We hosted a welcome party for everyone the night before. It was in a really cool enclosed courtyard of a restaurant . There were 4 walls like a regular room, but there was no roof - just open sky and bistro lights above; and the most perfect weather you could ever ask for! We chose the restaurant because they would allow us to host there without having a set menu. Most restaurants had a dedicated menu for events that guests had to choose from; but we really wanted everyone to be able to choose anything they wanted from the menu.

We did our rehearsal dinner at a BBQ restaurant. It was pretty casual. Food was a family-style meal with pulled pork, smoked chicken, and various sides (mac and cheese, fried pickles, and one or two others that I can't seem to remember at the moment).

We're planning a really low key welcome dinner. We rented a group of cabins for most of our guests to stay at and there are a few grills. So we're planning on picking up burgers and hotdogs to grill and getting some sides from costco

We didn’t have many out of towners so didn’t do a welcome party. We had our rehearsal dinner at a lovely little Italian restaurant where we’d had our first date.

Ours is super lowkey and we've kind of combined the rehearsal with a welcoming party since it's a destination wedding. My dad is going to BBQ and we'll get together the side dishes, drinks, etc.
