Our wedding is next weekend- March 12th.
On Friday I had my final phone meeting with our catering company and paid off the final balance in full.
Our contract is set as for them to arrive at 1:30pm to set up for our 3:30pm ceremony. Their contracted leave time is at 10:00pm. They are providing appetizers, full dinner, non alcoholic beverage station, gold chargers, dessert table, and a cutting cake for us.
After paying the coordinator for the company stated that they will be leaving after the cake is cut at 7:30pm because their services are no longer needed. They stated they would just leave the dessert table there. I got really upset as that is not what was booked at our tasting a year ago, nor what is in the contract.
Its horrifying to me that they want to take all of our non alcoholic beverages as well as breakdown/take the trash down in front of our guests.
My wedding planner team is on it and said that they would get this handled because this is not happening.
It just made me think, has anyone else had anything weird come from vendors close to their big day?
