Along with budget and guest list, how did you decide with your fiancé what you want your vision of the day to be? Do you have a certain aesthetic or formality in mind or are you playing it by ear? Casual, fancy, somewhere in between, urban vs country and so on.

I think we had a similar idea from the start, just based on our personalities and circumstances. Neither of us wanted anything super fancy, and we’re not rustic style people, so that informed our decisions. The only real discussion was whether we wanted a local or destination wedding.
