Rand-Bryan House - Garner, NC. Not sure if there is any flexibility in your budget, but their basic package starts at $2,750. So not far off you $2,000 budget.

Kindred Hall - Graham, NC. Not sure of their prices, but they are a newer venue (which are typically cheaper), and it is definitely a blank slate, like you said you wanted.

The Carolina Barn of Angier - Wedding packages start at $2,000

These are the 3 cheapest I was able to find. You could always look into renting a community center or a park. They tend to be cheaper!
