Wedding venues that dont require a wedding planner??

I live in CHS with my fiance and we so badly want to have our wedding here. BUT WE CAN'T FIND A VENUE THAT DOESN'T REQUIRE A WEDDING PLANNER. I don't even know how to look for a wedding planner but I do know that they are pretty expensive and most likely not in our budget. We plan to have between 150-200 guests. Does anyone know of any venues/parks in the charleston area that doesn't require a planner? I'd even consider a venue 1-1.5 hours out from down town!

What kind of venues have you been reaching out to? Are they more of a "blank slate" space, or are they offering all-inclusive service?? I'd think more all-inclusive venues would have a venue coordinator or someone on staff to help organize things!
