Do y'all think it would be to corny or costumey to have this applique put on a wedding veil? I plan to wear a simpler dress or at least I think it's simple. the Leanne marshal dress below the applique is what I would wear if I can find one in my price range. If not the brighter blue mesh is the runner up and will be customized to have a higher waist. (it's a little to beachy for my wedding) Also do you think it is bridal or just a nice dress? I am also thinking of wearing this shorter Lolita style dress at my reception. (the last photo) I am short at 5'2 and will probably wear a 3.5 inch heel possibly shorter but not higher.

Is it too corny or costumey to have a large applique on your veil? This photo also shows about the placement height although itd be a centered pair.
