Honestly I just wore converses. I didn't want to be uncomfortable in heels or worry about tripping.

I just went and chose shoes that were cute and comfortable that I could wear again later rather than be tied to the idea of "wedding shoes"

Are you looking for heels, Sneaks, or flats? I really like the brand Naturalizer and Bandolino for comfy heels, there are a few cute sparkly Keds options if you want sneakers, for flats I like Sam Edelman and Kelly & Katie (a DSW brand). Happy shopping!

I wore these and they were so comfy the entire day. They're low on size options on the website but the available sizes are super cheap right now LINK HERE

I don’t have recommendations, but will add my 2 cents. Don’t go with heals if you’re not used to wearing them or won’t spend plenty of time breaking them In/getting comfy. I wore my heals for about 4 hrs on my wedding day, not used to them, and the pressure on my toes cause my toe nails to fall off. It saying that happens to everyone/is common. But it’s something That didn’t even cross my mind could happen. When I was younger I did wear them more often with no issues. Go with comfort!

I wore these all day. I don't wear heels normally and I have a bad foot so wearing heels is horrible for me. I couldn't have been more comfortable all day. So it depends on how used to heels you are

I wore inexpensive nude colored low block heels and they were comfortable enough to dance and walk in (our wedding was outdoors) but felt more upscale than sneakers. If you want to do sneakers, go for it, but if you want something more elegant while still being practical I'd recommend block heels or wedges in a height that is easy for you to walk in. I didn't see the point in splurging on really expensive statement shoes because they aren't all that noticeable under a long dress. The shoes I got looked nice, didn't break the bank, and can easily be worn with other outfits.

I'd avoid tall skinny heels unless you regularly wear them, because you'll likely find them uncomfortable and awkward after a long day. Similarly, flats and flat soled sneakers like Converse typically do not have any arch support, so can actually be quite uncomfortable if worn all day.

Also, if you plan to switch your shoes but not your dress, make sure the shoes are the same height so your dress can be hemmed correctly and you don't risk tripping over your dress.

I'm wearing 3 inch block heels with an ankle strap and changing into white Lacoste sneakers for the reception.

I'd recommend steering clear of "wedding shoes" because they get marked up solely due to the fact that they're marketed as something for a wedding. There's no difference between "regular" shoes and "wedding" shoes. I got mine at DSW Smiley smile

After months of online stalking, I decided to use goldish shoes already in my closet, and I was super comfortable. If you are into white and new, I found these are on extra 50% sale: Vince Camuto. They have the block heel, heel support, and open toed ease that will be useful as guests steer you in multiple directions (you don't want stilettos). I do not know if these are actually comfortable though! Good luck shopping.
