Wedding Rehearsal Fit

Our rehearsal was just us and our celebrant, calling in at her house on our way up to our venue (about 1-2 hours drive away from where most of our guests live) so I just wore what I planned to wear to our dinner the night before.

In our case, the dinner the night before was VERY casual - dinner in a pub with whoever was staying in the area. It was super nice but not at all dressy. I still wanted to wear something special though, so I wore this dress:

I think if there's an outfit that would make sense to change into that will make you feel good - absolutely do it! But also don't feel like you HAVE to do that. It's honestly not necessary (but sometimes it's just fun, and if you can afford it and have the time/energy to find something - why not, am I right?)

We went directly from our rehearsal to the dinner, so I just wore what I wore to rehearse (which was a cute dress in our wedding colors). I will say that I changed shoes between, because I needed flats/wedges for the rehearsal (grass aisle) and wanted heels for the dinner.

You could wear a casual but cute sundress to set up then rehearse. It would be a step up from a T-shirt and shorts, but still wouldn’t be too fancy, and it would be light and breathable so you wouldn’t get all hot and sweaty.
Another option would be wearing shorts and a tank to set up, then throw on a blazer over it for the rehearsal

I also had my rehearsal right after setting up the venue except we went directly into dinner as well. Just for fun, I wore my mom's wedding dress, which was a cream lace dress with a tea-length hem. Our rehearsal was otherwise very casual.

I plan on wearing a simple white dress for our rehearsal and dinner. It sounds like you have time between the set up in the morning and the 4 o’clock rehearsal? Freshen up and change into your rehearsal outfit during that window.
