I wasn't going to get a wedding planner, I was gonna do this all on my own. But I have found it very stressful. So when I posted in one of my local groups about looking for a cake baker to do my cake, I got so many positive feedback and also landed a planner and a cake baker.. Score on both. So the baker is charging me $300 before the wedding cake and the grooms cake and I have looked at all her previous cakes and she does a wonderful job and she's local so score for me ... and then there was a wedding planner in the mix and she contacted me and wants to me with me and my FH on Sunday at 1p. I am excited to maybe take some of this stress off of me. So I will come back after my meeting with the planner and give an update.
