Same boat 😕 i literally check every day, Lol. I honestly don’t think he will. He’s got a target on weddings/funerals, and even though our daily numbers are starting to look really good, he knows wedding season is coming up so I just don’t see him lifting it in time for spring. I really, really hope I am wrong!!

He has 300 people right now so hoping that number doesn’t go down.

I got married in October it was such a roller coaster with him. But with the variants coming I don’t think he will lift them. In March of 2020 he had everything closed then opened then restrictions again. There are no restrictions at your home. If you are a spring or summer I would go that route. That’s what I did only 40 people and my tented wedding looked just as nice or nicer than the Barrington were I was originally going to have my reception. I married at Stan Hywet. Best of luck I feel your pain. Just remember keep focused on getting married and not letting covid ruin it completely it’s going to be a long time before we are out of this.

I checked the site yesterday and it said new guidance/restrictions about weddings should be coming out the next few weeks! With him allowing sporting events to start I'm cautiously hopeful for us.

Me again lol, he just stated that if we can get under 50 cases per 100,000 people, and stay there for two consecutive weeks, all mandates will be lifted! So I have cautious hope lol

Hi! As far as any orders changing anything, we are still where we were in November. I do know he lifted the 300 person max and did state buffets are now allowed with certain precautions. I do know places are still honoring the 6ft rule so capacity limits are prolly more based on the venue now!

Hi sorry to bother you but with hes new order of 25% indoor venue capacity what does that mean?? If a banquet hall can fit 300 so does that mean now we can only have 75?

Hey! From what I'm seeing it didn't really change a ton. I know that the mass gathering ban technically was lifted but places with permanent seating is still at the 25% capacity mark, but for venues that can move things around the amount may be a bit higher. Dancing is allowed now...but has to be distanced when its either larger than groups of 10 or non POD/family members. We've decided to dance outside to make distancing easier on everyone lol.

Yes our venue has 300 people amount before Covid so after this 25% I’m scared they don’t change it to 75 people..

Hey! I would reach out and check with them, I know for us the venue we have was originally for 120 people and currently with tables spaced out how they are wanting we can have around 80 people in the space. I think venues have more wiggle room because they can actually move the tables around.

I am not sure, I thought it applies to stadiums, concert halls, etc., but I did not read the order closely. If your wedding is in a few weeks, I would reach out to your venue ASAP to confirm.

Yes we reached out...but the 25% capacity has been in place since Feb so I don’t think anything has changed? You think he is going to lift the mandates in the next two week?

It's me again! Per his announcement yesterday all mandates will be lifted on June 2nd! Then it's just up to your venue if they choose to have any.
