Wedding Makeup

My personal philosophy is to be true to yourself. If you're someone that wears bold makeup on a regular basis, I would go with bold. But if you're someone who tends to lean more towards natural/neutral looks, I would go more on that side.

What time is your wedding? Afternoon? Evening? What type of venue? And what type of atmosphere are you going for? What's your dress like?

Obviously you can do whatever look makes you happy, and maybe even doing two trials - one more subtle and one bolder - can help you decide. I personally think a bolder look pairs more with a more formal or even semi-formal evening event. Of course if your dress leans more towards a boho-style, then a more natural look probably matches better.

Well, I'm thinking about the pictures and my normal style. I'm normally very light on makeup and very neutral, always earthy tones and normally just browns, tans & Whites with a little green thrown in here and there. But for the wedding I want to be like **BAM** so I think I want a doe eyed look. So I'm thinking about stuff like this where it's subtle enough that I wont feel like my face is going to come off but enough where the cameras aren't going to miss it because it's "Too light:

I dont wear alot of makeup on the regular but for my big day i want all out. Subtle for the ceremony but definitely bold for the reception

I don't wear a lot on a day to day basis so I don't want to glam up so much I don't look/feel like me. I want to look bridal and beautiful, but I want to look like ME.

I don't wear makeup on a regular basis but I'm not uncomfortable in bold makeup either. I figure that it isn't often that I get my makeup professionally done so I'm going to take advantage of it. We are having a formal, evening wedding with a slightly vintage theme. I'm doing a burgundy lip and a slightly gold eye. Our colors are gold, burgundy and navy. I think that if you are comfortable in the makeup then go as bold as you want! The most important thing is to just be comfortable! These are pics from my first trial

As someone who doesn’t wear makeup, I wouldn’t feel like myself if I wore dramatic makeup on my wedding day. Wear what you would feel most comfortable in that said, on other people I love the way glamorous makeup looks!
