Wedding Makeup/ Hair

Same dilemma here! At first I thought I would want a hair and makeup team but then I got an estimate and freaked out! I am opting to use one for engagement photos , which will also double as a trial for look of big day to decide if it’s worth it! As for diy, maybe do a little more of what you normally do to ensure your features aren’t washed out in pictures! Best wishes

I wanted to pamper myself and I'm not great at my own makeup, so I hired a hair & makeup team for me and my bridesmaids. I went with a pretty natural look for my wedding, but looking "natural" on camera required a ton of airbrush makeup and fake eyelashes! 😆

I feel comfortable doing my own makeup, but I want to feel pampered on my wedding day! I'm paying for myself and my mom and FMIL, but I gave my bridesmaids the option for paying for hair and makeup. I would suggest doing one or two trial sessions with your mua to get your look right! That way you aren't stressing about whether or not they will give you the look you want!

I say do your own. Personally I think it makes you look more like yourself and you know your face better than anyone !
