If you are giving your guests a choice of meal, then yes - I would include that information on the RSVP card. Your wedding website can also be listed on the invites as well (either on the details card or the main invite). I ordered my invites from Etsy! They were decently priced, and the seller was willing to make as many customizations as needed.

    I agree with Lisa's advice!

Since we're having a buffet, we aren't including meal options with our invites. We're also doing online RSVPs, so we won't include those either. Our invites will be ordered through Minted, and they will be the four panel invite option! For some reason, the four panel is a lot cheaper than a regular invite lol, so we chose that since we'd be able to have the wedding info on the front, directions, accommodations, and other details inside, and we have a photo of us on the back with a sweet note to our guests, along with our wedding website listed on the bottom!

Meal choice should be on your RSVP card.

We used Shutterfly to order our invitations. They had a great variety and were fairly inexpensive.

We ordered our invites through minted.com. We also did our wedding website through minted. We did the normal invitation, and then we did a reception card that advised people to details RSVP deadline and the website login and password. The wedding website is where we listed off all of our meal choices and our guests RSVPed through the website. I suggest minted because it has the easiest search function for your guests finding their names for the RSVP. When I initially did a website I was going to go with WeddingWire, but then when I tested the website out none of my guests were pulling up in the RSVP section. I like minted a lot because even if your guestsJust put in their first name or last name it pulls them up, or say if there’s two people with the same last name it gives you a list of those people with the same last name and you select your name. Even if it’s just a nickname, I’ve searched many different ways and pulled my guests up no problem. Also, all of my guests have said how easy it was for them to RSVP on the website.

Website goes on a separate details card.. The meal choices as specific as you can get go on the reply card. They can also be listed on the rsvp section of the website. None of these things go on the invite itself.

You should be as detailed as you can get with food choices. Some may not like a certain preparation or may not be able to eat it. With just ‘beef’, ‘chicken’ or ‘vegetarian’, there is no way to tell what is being served so your guests are blindly choosing. Your guests might pick beef assuming it’s prime rib and get medallions covered in mushroom sauce or expect a certain type of chicken but it has an ingredient they are allergic to.

As far as websites, many posts say there are countless glitches with WW so they go elsewhere such as withjoy.com or wix.com. Bear in mind that not everyone is tech savvy and will not visit the site so make sure that they have the same information available.

For invites, that is personal preference. If you are on a budget, check out annsbridalbargains.com. For mid range, try Zazzle.com for individual pieces or Etsy for full sets(have them print them when possible). Or design your own on Canva.com which also offers printing services.

I am also using Minted.com for my invitations. I’ll be doing the All in one invitation (it’s one of their most affordable options) it also comes with the rsvp card attached to the invitation so, that’ll give my guests the option to rsvp through the mail or online through our website. I’m having a buffet with servers for dinner so, I won’t be able including meal options on the invitations. I did put our website on the invitations, I put “For further information, please visit our website at”. I would highly recommended minted, I’ll be using them for my invitations and website and so far I’ve had a wonderful experience with this company.

I think it all depends on if you are giving them a meal option. We did buffet so we didn't put anything about the meal on the invite. But if you are then you should put it somewhere on the rsvp card. Also you can put the website on your invitations. We directed people to the website for more information on our invites. We got our invitations from shutterfly and they came out perfect.

Meal choices should be included with whatever method you are using to RSVP.

We used Zazzle for our invitations. We kept them very simple and referred guests to our wedding website to RSVP (we did not include an RSVP card). When guests RSVP on our website they are asked to make their meal selections then. We used The Knot for our wedding website.

We used Ann's Bridal Bargains for our invitations, and our meal choices were listed on the rsvp card because we were having a plated meal. Our website was through The Knot.

Meal choices go on the RSVP card if you're giving guests different entree options

The meal choice was put on the RSVP card. They were given the option of beef or chicken. The details were put on our wedding website but we still had people asking us for more details on what exactly the beef or chicken option was so if you feel like it'd be worth it you can include a details card with details related to the menu.
