So I live in Utah, and in Utah weddings usually happen fast. Like, you get married 2 months after getting engaged. So most people send their invites out 3 weeks before the wedding which I think is way to late. But if you send them out at a normal time, people think it’s to soon. So people in Utah, when did you send out your invites?

Hi there Paige!
That must be hectic planning a wedding in two months. Do couples typically start planning before the engagement to secure a venue and vendors?
What is your concern with sending the invites out 3 weeks in advance? If it’s that guests don’t have much notice, perhaps you could do save the dates also. Do couples in Utah typically send save the dates?

Hi! I’d say send them out 6 weeks in advance so if anything gets sent back to you you can get it to them, and a month before seems good to me...

I live in utah and I completely agree with you it's crazy how late they send them!

I sent mine out like 8 weeks in advance so people can start requesting time off If needed

We are anticipating sending them out 5-6 weeks prior to the wedding.
I live in Utah as well and yes.. typically proposal, very short engagement and bam... Married !!
It also has a lot to do with the religion here.

I live in Utah and I’m going to send me invitation 6 months before my wedding because I have people coming from different state and they have jobs and life
