I am looking to get some advice on when is the optimal time to look for a dress for my situation.

My wedding is in April 2025. I am currently expecting and my due date is September 15. I was wondering whether is advised that I look for a dress now before I get too far along in my pregnancy. Or if it is preferred that I begin looking after I deliver? Given I’ll need to get it altered..etc. I’m a bit stressed about it. Ans although we are excited to welcome our first baby, I am a little worried on how my body would look post partem
Thank you for any advice you have. Would love to hear from others who had similar experiences.

You can get a dress in six months if you choose to wait. But you’re not going to want to try dresses on immediately post-partum, and that cuts down on your lead time. I’d probably go ahead and start looking now. Buy a slightly larger size and/or allow for extra room in the belly, hips, and chest.
