Wedding Dresses at Thrift Stores

Hey I just want to make a psa: if anyone is looking for a wedding dress and is on a budget- I’d suggest going to your local thrift stores/consignment shops before going to a bridal salon. My sister and I went to one the other day, and I was impressed with what they had! Now, she has her dress and I’m already married so We didn’t need to buy one, but some of the dresses still had tags on them. And they were gorgeous! Did anyone get their dress from a thrift store/ consignment shop? Some of them were also bigger sizes.

I haven't got my dress yet ,I'll be looking soon. Thank you for the tip, there's a lot of nice thrift shops and such around me. I never even thought about it.

Also check Amazon. They have a great selection. I bought my first wedding gown from them it was a ball gown and when I say it was gorgeous! And fit perfectly. Needless to say that first marriage never happen and I had to sell it but the girl who bought it loved it and cried when she saw it in person. She looked ABSOLUTELY beautiful in it too. Oh and the prices are unbelievable. I would suggest getting your measurements to ensure you get the correct size. I worked in bridal for a long time so my pick out was easy

I scored a gorgeous, unique white and champagne wedding dress from a consignment shop near me. They get tons in around prom time so there were tons of choices! And it was only $100 and it fit!!

Mine was only $15. Clean and looked beautiful
And im a size 14 street clothes so i was shocked i found something that fit and looked good on me

That's a great idea!
has anyone gone to sample sales? I know very little of them ijust have this image in my head of women rushing into the store and punching each other to snatch a dress they want

I went to a few thrift stores but I couldn’t find anything recent lol. I got my dress off of Poshmark for $25 and you can search by your size on there.
