Wedding day hair regret :(

You are gorgeous! I love your dress and those flowers are stunning. I don’t think your hair looks bad but it sounds like it wasn’t how you wanted it look on your special day which is frustrating and disappointing. Try not to let those feelings mar the memory of your special day. When I see these pics it’s your absolute joy that stands out. You are just radiating happiness. Congrats on the wedding. I hope with time you will love your photos you were a stunning bride.

I completely understand where you're coming from. I had an allergic reaction to the makeup the mua used and had to scrub it all off! I literally walked down the aisle with zero makeup on. And since we were in the south, it was humid and my hair fell and got a little frizzy. I know when we think of our wedding day, we think of it being the one day when we get to be all dolled up and our "best selves". Unfortunately, it doesn't always work out that way! I just focus on the fun memories of that night, and how happy I look in our photos! Hopefully, once you get all your pictures back, there will be some that you really love in there! And if not, never underestimate the power of photoshop! You can easily have your favorite photos edited to fix your hair. Another option would be to speak to your photographer. Just let her know that you are very unhappy with your hair in your photos (not at all her fault of course!), and see what she would charge for a wedding portrait session with your hubby. Then you could have gorgeous, frameable photos and an excuse to wear your wedding dress again!

I can totally relate, but I guess the difference is I knew it was going to happen. ..... beach wedding, beautiful gulf breeze ..... yeah, I have pictures with my hair all sideways and my sweet love with the "clown" look. You HAVE too look at THOSE pictures and just laugh. Really. Remember the circumstances that THAT particular picture was taken - for me it was when my boys raced down from the reception to join us on our "romantic" beach shots. I looked disheveled, the boys looked alcoholic-impaired (LOLOL) and seriously, it is my favorite picture. It's "us" in reality, not some poster-picture photo-shoot shot. So try looking at your pictures with this in mind and you just may love the imperfect ones more.
