How many tiers are you having and how much are you paying for the cake? This is my next step.

We having this cake made for us this size bottom is 12" with 3 dozen cupcakes. Each layer has a different flavor and the cupcakes will too. We are paying just over $200 because of keeping the cakes small and doing cupcakes and the discount helped drop it down some.

I decided to opt out of a wedding cake. Many of my friends have done donuts or ice cream.

We are doing cupcakes vice a cake. Still getting a "cake" topper but we really couldn't beat the price.

We're doing a 12"-10" 2-tier cake for 65 people, plus a fairly intricate fondant groom's cake. Altogether, it's just under $600. Definitely something we could have done differently to save money, but I really don't regret it. If we'd have been trying to save money, we'd have done an 8" cutting cake on a cake stand, and cupcakes or a dessert bar.

We did a 2 tier "cutting cake" so we could keep the top and then did half a sheet cake in the back that was cut up. As well we had an alternate flavor cupcake (enough for half the guests). Grand total came out to under $500. The cupcakes were from WholeFoods at $4 a piece, the large cake was around $250 and the sheet cake was around $60 from Publix!

We are doing two tiers. Bottom tier is 10” and top tier is 6”. It’ll feed 52 people and it’s costing us $182. We’re also having a candy bar that’s doubling as extra desserts/wedding favors. The max amount of people that will be at the wedding will be around 50.

We skipped a cake but when we weren’t sure and were looking around we found cakes in our area to be about $9-$12 per slice.

We are doing a two tiered bundt cake and then having miniature bundt cakes for our guests to eat. Neither of us are big cake people and the bundt cakes are less expensive and a more tasty option in our opinion. This is how ours will look.

I'm not sure, lol. She originally quoted $630 if we made payments, but she said if we pay upfront she will apply a discount and the tasting fee towards the total, and it came down to $465. I was pretty happy with that, so we paid up front. The cake is one of the things I am super excited about, because we are getting everything we want: semi-naked, fresh berries, fresh flowers, and each tier can be a different flavor combo.

This is our cake, it is $500 with a $75 delivery fee (we got a discount for delivery because we got engaged there). The cake feeds about 125 people. We will get a free cake from the bakery on our first anniversary.

We're having a 2-tier cake to feed about 40 people plus some other desserts are included in our catering package as well. I can't wait until we go cake tasting!

We are also doing a bundt cake, we decided on three two tiered cakes with different flavors and mini bundt cakes as our favors for our guests and then just one 8" cake for us to save. Ours came out to $330.

3 tiers (meant to feed 120 people) for $600.

It's a very simple cake but definitely on the pricier side because it's all gluten and dairy free (I have severe food allergies so had to accommodate!)

Really?! We used Nothing Bundt Cakes and with the Bunditis and how many the cake serves, ours came to only about 200 dollars. We aren't saving any of our cake. We will each have a slice and then let our guests have whatever is left as well as the Bunditis.

We got a small 2-tiered caked for 145$ (6in and 9 in) mainly for cutting but also as a part of our general dessert table Smiley smile. If you’re looking to save some money, dessert tables are a great option and let guests pick what they want to eat.
