Wedding beer and wine

We are planing on just having beer and wine provided for our wedding (June 26,2021) in wisconsin. We have a BYO wedding where we are getting married it’s a dry town hence why we are only doing beer and wine, most of our family most likely will bring their own due to they like their hard stuff so we are providing soda and ice to those who choose to bring their own. Our question is how much beer (Busch light in cans) do you buy and how far advance do you buy and store till the wedding along with boxed wine we can’t have anything with glass at our venue since it’s outside. How much and when do we buy?

About 300 guests is what we have as of right now.

A good rule of thumb for estimating is to buy enough booze for 1 drink per guest per hour of reception (so if your reception is 5 hours long, enough for 5 drinks per guest). If your crowd are heavy drinkers you should err on the higher side!

Here's a recent discussion you should check out as well that should be helpful: How many drinks at reception? (200 guests)
