Venues - nh

Future Brides!

I an having the the hardest time looking for a venue within the NH area, we want something that is NOT a rustic barn kind of venue. At this point I feel like I’m asking for too much! I have searched high and low on all the websites you could imagine but I’m curious if anyone knows of a venue I may have overpassed or if someone had a friend or family member that got married in NH at an amazing place that again I may be over passing!

    Hi there Emily!

Welcome to the WeddingWire community Smiley smile

Have you had a chance to check out the WeddingWire venue directory? You may find a venue you love there. You can filter further by a hotel wedding, winery wedding, mansions wedding, etc, to find the one!

How many guests will you need to fit in the venue?

    Hello!

Yes I have searched on the directory on the app and I have found some amazing places! One in which I went to see last weekend, however were looking for something maybe a little closer to home (Sunapee area).

Our guest count is honestly quite large, we’re looking at about 150-200 people. We live around the Sunapee area and would like to keep travel under two hours for guests. Castle in the clouds is beautiful definitely one within our radar, but I do believe it’s a little further out!

What about either of these first 2? The Fells Historic Estate and Gardens or Inn at Pleasant Lake? I live in the Upper Valley so close, but not super close that I am familiar with stuff around there, but both of these look really pretty!

We visited the Inn at Pleasant Lake in our search last year. It’s definitely beautiful, but with 150-200 people you’d have to be in the rustic barn or an outdoor tent. They will not all fit inside in the dining room.

I'm getting married at Dexter's Inn , a cute estate with perfect views of Mount Sunapee and Mount Kearsarge. I cannot recommend this venue enough!

I grew up in the Sunapee area (currently in Manchester for school) - feel free to reach out if you have any more questions!

Aldworth Manor in Harrisville, NH is a gorgeous estate style venue, but I'm not sure what their capacity is.

Tuscan kitchen in Salem Nh... really good prices ($30-$50 a plate!) and beautiful event room on the third floor with a balcony! Right off 93 too!

We’re getting married at the Bedford Village Inn in Bedford. Not sure how far that is from Sunapee but the reception space can hold up to 200 people.
