Lauren, on January 22, 2019 at 3:53 PM Posted in District of Columbia Planning 0 6
Hi ladies! I plan on getting married in March 2020. I really want to have a brunch wedding. So far I’m planning on having a small wedding max guest list 50 people, I’m Trying to find a restaurant in the dc area with a private room that serves brunch ? Or a all inclusive venue. My budget is really limited....only $9K! Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Hi Lauren! Welcome to the WeddingWire community!! Smiley ring

Whenever people are looking for restaurants, I suggest looking at Yelp and OpenTable. The latter actually has an option to filter restaurants by private rooms, which is a lovely thing I only recently found out.

I would suggest look at those sites when you've got a moment, but I found some places that offer brunch specials in DC. You could see if Agora, Blue Duck Tavern, The Riggsby, or Art and Soul are to your taste.

Are you trying to stay in a certain neighborhood of DC?

Check out The Osprey's at Belmont Bay (Woodbridge, VA).

We're doing our Morning Wedding + Brunch Reception there for 3,500. All tables/Chairs included. You can bring in your own Caterer from anywhere and your own booze.

Our over all budget is 10k and this has been very reasonable for us.

PLUS its a gorgeous waterfront venue Smiley laugh

I know its not in DC but I had a graduation lunch at Kimpton Lorien Hotel & Spa in old town alexandria and it was lovely! They are set up to host weddings also, and the staff were amazing! We had 100 people and were able to keep the cost at $6k so with 50 people it should be any less. And hosting a brunch/lunch will be much cheaper than dinner time, its worth looking into them!

I just found a neat place called the Avenue DC on Connecticut Avenue. I called and their prices were really reasonable (40 woman) and the menu looked awesome! Good luck and Congrats!
