What's the location you are thinking of? Portland? Medford? Somewhere in-between?
My venue cost $1200 for the whole Sunday, $400 of that is the refundable cleaning deposit. The Riverhouse in Shady Cove, it cheaper for a weekday. Next door to a hotel.
