Venue that allows personal catering

Take a look at Eventective.com, Peerspace and the local parks department website under “event venues”. They do exist in large numbers and they are often much more cost effective than all inclusive venues because they offer flexibility to use lower priced vendors such as grocery stores, restaurant catering, and others.

My daughter got married and had her reception at La Grande Estates in Oakley, CA. At the time (2020) they allowed outside catering for an additional fee.

Ravenswood Historic Site in Livermore also allows outside catering (it's mostly a DIY venue).
