Venue suggestions pleaseeee

Latoya, on July 8, 2021 at 4:04 PM Posted in Pennsylvania Planning 0 9
Hi everyone. I’m Toya. I live in Philadelphia. I’d like to pick a nice venue for my ceremony/reception. Everything seems to be really pricey. Does anyone know any reasonable venues in the philadelphia and surrounding areas?

Take a look at eventective.com for venues that allow outside catering since those are generally less expensive even with rentals. Also look at parks department owned venues.

Hi Latoya! How big is your guest list, and what kinds of wedding venues do you like?? (Style? Indoor / Outdoor??)

Here are some venues in the Philadelphia area that have affordable starting price ranges:

    La Luna Banquet Hall

    The Betsy Ross House

    Franklin Square

    Hudson Table

    Citizens Bank Park

    Duportail House in Chesterbrook

    White Manor Country Club

    Midway Arches in Coatesville

Hi Latoya! I’m not sure what your budget is but John James Audubon Center is a nice park, has a gorgeous old barn and a newly renovated pavilion. Plus they work with an awesome catering company, Jeffrey A Miller Catering, who’s food offerings are beyond what you ever imagined. There food is farm to table and never frozen! JAM works with a lot of other venues in the Philly area. I’d say they’re worth checking out!

Hi Katie! We decided to go with Celebrations. The venue is beautiful and they really worked with my budget. I’m very happy! 7/14/22 is our new date. It’s a Thursday. I had no idea how much cheaper weddings are on Thursdays!

Have you taken a look at the JAM Catering venues? They have plenty of outdoor and indoor venues throughout the area. We are having our wedding at Welkinweir Estate this October and could not be more excited. The venue is largely outdoor with a tent for the reception. JAM Catering has lots of different menu choices so you can pick out what fits your budget best. Their food is also farm to table so everything is fresh and delicious! Also, our venue is BYOB so that definitely helped cut down on the cost too!
