Hello all! I'm from the Poconos region of northeast PA and I'm struggling so badly to find a venue thats even moderately within my budget. Everything is so expensive! I'm looking to spend about 10k for venue and catering but it seems like everything has a 7k site fee and is $120 a person additional for food and we just can't afford that with our 150 person guest list. (I've cut every single person I possibly can but we both come from really big families and I have 6 siblings) does such a venue exist in the nepa area or am I being unrealistic? I really really don't want to go to the courthouse but I've spent months looking at venues and I feel like I've found nothing.

We got married at The Radisson in Scranton. It was prior to Covid and they had a different event coordinator, but we didn't pay $120 a person. We had a custom menu that was a buffet/stations. Maybe see if they would work with you.
