I did a headband but mostly because veils and other things like birdcages just didn't look good on me.

It really depends on what you feel most comfortable with. Wearing a veil makes me feel more bridal, but skipping a veil is totally fine! That's what Princess Eugenie did, and nobody missed the veil

I loved how dramatic, romantic, and bridal wearing a veil made me feel. This is the only time in my life I could possibly wear one so I wanted to take advantage of it. I wore a custom made lace edged cathedral veil with a fresh flower crown for my pre-ceremony pictures and for the ceremony. I then removed the veil after the ceremony.

I skipped the veil and did a small hairpiece. I couldn't justify spending money on something I knew I'd take off for the reception. I also wore my hair up, so I'm not sure if that makes a difference to you.

I'm not doing a veil. I just can't see one working with my dress, so I'm just looking for a decorative hair comb wear.

I wore a veil for the ceremony, and then took it off for the reception. I bought it off Amazon, so I didn't spend that much. I liked the veil for the ceremony, as it made me feel more bridal. However, I also wanted to show off my hair.

I bought a simple veil that matches my dress exactly is material and color. I accidentally set it where my cats could get to it, not thinking.
I am no longer wearing a veil.
