Veil color with ivory dress.

I had an ivory dress, and I picked an ivory veil. I didn't get a chance to see how a white veil would look with an ivory dress, but I also wondered whether the veil color would be noticeably different if I went with white instead of ivory. Maybe you could stop in the dress shop that you bought your dress from, and see if they have any white veils that you can hold up against the dress to see how it would look? Otherwise, I would probably go with an ivory veil, just to be sure.

This is way smaller than a veil, but I ordered a strand of pearls after I’d ordered my dress and didn’t realize until they arrived that they’re ivory (my dress is white). I was panicking the whole time that they wouldn’t match, but once the dress came it all blended together fine (imo anyway). But I can see how a veil is actually up against the dress so might be more noticeable, but then again veil material is usually so thin that I think the color isn’t as strong as it is with the dress. Can you ask the Etsy store owner if they can send you a sample of the fabric for less than the full veil so you can hold it against your dress before making a full order?

You would want to get an ivory veil to go with an ivory gown. A white veil will be noticably whiter.

Depending on when your getting married. I seen beautiful veils with flowers attached to them! They came in white and ivory. I think ivory would look better because it should go along with the dress.

Your dress and veil need to be identical.

Also, make sure your veil compliments your dress rather than distract/take-away from it and/or you. On the flip side , if you dress is more plain/simple, you can always go with a dramatic veil to give your look a little spice.
