vegas after party

Brittany, on November 17, 2019 at 2:34 PM Posted in Nevada Planning 0 14
Hi! So we are getting married in Vegas at a little chapel and there will be about 30 people attending and were trying to figure out what to do after the ceremony. The idea was to rent a big suite and hire a bartender but has anyone ever thrown a party in one of the hotels? I’m not sure if the hotels will allow that to happen. Just wanted to see if anyone has done something like that before ?

    Hey Brittany Smiley smile

I personally have never heard of this before, however, it may happen!

Would you consider hiring an Airbnb that allows events? Or would you rather have the after party in Vegas? Another idea would be to rent a private or semi-private area of a restaurant or bar for the celebration!

    vegas after party 1

We did! We didn't hire a bartender.... instead we had a mini-reception (about 40 people) and then had a party bus pick up anyone who wanted to (drink lol) and tour the strip at night it was a blast!!!! The bus was made for dancing!

Yes it can be done we didn't tell the hotel (figured asking for forgiveness was better then permission) and the next day our bridal party helped us clean up a little (we brought some giant trash bags with us) I think as long as you don't disturb other guests they don't really care. I attached some pictures of how we decorated our suite I would just make sure to get a big suite (we ended up upgrading the suite twice because we were worried about space and I'm so glad we did)

Hi! Considering this option and perusing previous threads-- where did you book at?

Back again! Which chapel are you having your ceremony at? I called the Cosmopolitan about their Wraparound Terrace Suite and they said we are free to bring in our own food and drink since it is in a private booked room.

We actually decided to scrap the hotel idea bc most hotels you had to use there vendors and that adds up. Plus the set up and clean up , so we are just doing a cocktail reception at Maggianos!

We used Mandalay Bay's conference room suite. It was nice because it had lots of seating a giant table (good for a place for the food) and also a bar! We didn't go thru the hotel we brought in our own food and I got decorations off wish.com that I brought and it went amazing!

Not sure if you had your wedding, but we rented 2 30 passenger party buses, stocked them with alcohol which the bus owners allowed us to bring ahead of time. They had the music going, people were dancing, getting on the pole. Much cheaper than going to a club. All ages were on the bus. We stopped at the Vegas sign and other hotels. It was great!!! Best wedding ever. Everyone had a great time.

I’ve been to Vegas for our yearly Arbonne conference. There are thousands of us in attendance! Anyway- we always have several gatherings in someone’s room for special events during the conference weekend. Beverages, food, desserts are all brought to the room. We decorate and are pretty loud- lol!!! We spill out into the hallways and no one says a word. The Venetian has some very large suites that would be perfect. I’ve never heard of anyone being charged. Vegas is loose with “rules”, you just can’t be loudly partying all day and night disturbing everyone around your room. Otherwise- it’s pretty chill.
